Congratulations to all the incoming Foundation Year students who received their results from A Levels, BTECs and other qualifications last week.
The Foundation Year's new students include Daanyaal from Shirley High School in Croydon whose results were featured on the University of Cambridge homepage. Daanyaal is the first from his school to come to Cambridge and will be joining Downing College.
“I’m really proud of myself but I’m also really grateful for the support system around me that has enabled me to happen, especially my Mum," Daanyaal said. "I’m forever grateful for the school - they are the reason I got this opportunity".
We are looking forward to welcoming all our new students to Cambridge at our induction week in mid-September!
